In the bustling city of Wellville, there lived a man named John. John was a dedicated software engineer who spent his days buried in code and his nights battling fatigue. Despite his hard work, he felt something was missing. He often dreamt of a life where he felt vibrant and alive, not just getting through the day, but truly thriving.
One sunny afternoon, while taking a rare break in the park, John noticed a health coach named Sarah hosting a wellness workshop. Curious, he approached and listened to her speak about the transformative power of health. He started small, incorporating fresh, whole foods into his diet and dedicating time each day to physical activity, beginning with morning jogs. He also adopted mindfulness practices to help manage stress and improve his mental clarity.

Welcome to my Holistic Health Journey!
A warm welcome to my page! I’m thrilled to have you here and excited to share my journey with you.
I, like many others struggled pretty bad with mental health through my teen years and into my twenties.
My family was extremely against medication and never allowed me to be on perscriptions for mental health growing up.
When I turned 18, I decided to get medicated for the mental issues I was struggling with, at this time it felt like my last resort. I tried dozens of meds before finally deciding to cold turkey all of them (not the best idea, and I do not at all recommend doing this)
When I decided to cold turkey these medications, I was on Adderall, twice a day 20mg for “ADHD”, propranolol (I can’t remember the exact dosage), for anxiety, as well as Abilify, 5 mg for mood stabilization.
At this point, I decided to cold turkey (again I do not at all recommend doing this) because I felt like a freaking zombie, If I wasn’t on my Adderall I could not physically get anything done because I had developed such a dependence on it. I became a person that no one enjoyed being around including myself.
My brain felt like a war-zone where no one was ever going to win. One morning at 4 am, I was scrolling through YouTube, and I happened to come across a talk that was given by Dr. Joe Dispenza. This talk changed what felt like the entire chemistry of my brain and the entire course of my life. From then on, I was hooked on self-improvement and learning about myself. I fell down the self-help rabbit hole learning about everything from quantum physics to shadow work to the gut-brain axis and so much more it became addicting, but this time it was a good addiction. As I started to implement my findings into my own life and feeling better all around, I happened to find IIN (divine timing of course!), and now I am more in love than ever with learning about holistic wellness.
Although I am nowhere near perfect, I believe with my whole heart that self-improvement is a never-ending, life-long journey, but I fell so in love with this journey that I decided I want to help other people fall in love with themselves and life too.
I became certified as a holistic health coach through The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and I also decided to create my business Soul Shine Wellness LLC where my vision is to help young women fall in love with themselves in a holistic manner that removes limiting beliefs and then allows them to create the life of their dreams. I am a HUGE believer in the idea that YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE standing in your own way and once you realize this and overcome the limits your ego creates based on false ideas, the world is truly yours and anything is possible.
My philosophy is that each and every person is bio-individual and multi-dimensional and when looking at holistic health this is taken into account and rather than looking to treat symptoms (putting a band-aid on a bullet hole), the root of the problem that caused these symptoms is looked at. I firmly believe that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself. When given the right conditions and support, our bodies can restore balance and function optimally. This self-healing capacity is a natural, powerful force that we can harness through mindful practices and lifestyle choices.
Each person is unique, and so are their health needs. My approach is highly personalized, taking into account your individual circumstances, goals, and preferences. Together, we create a tailored plan that empowers you to take charge of your health and achieve your wellness aspirations. But I cannot force any individual into change, that is a choice you will have to make for yourself, but I will be able to help keep you headed in the right direction.
